As the saying goes, "real recognizes real." Isn't it ironic that logical and non-superstitous people are the ones who get the cosmic jokes played on them hardest? I can't wait for your newsletter /paranormal story because I have literally several of my own I cannot tell anyone outside of my closest confidants. I love how writers and storytellers are simultaneously engaged and open people, and often quite antisocial. The bear mauled me, and left me for dead, upon which time an alien and a ghost took turns healing an torturing me. Kudos Kris...thanks for sharing
I've been waiting for your ghost story a long time!! I'll tell you mine, if I feel it's interesting enough, after I read yours.
I've had several weird events happen to me on trains, they just seem to be the place for it. Fires, arrests (not me...yet), detours, and because I traveled with my ferrets quite often, a lot of drama.
I used to always chat with strangers, I met a lot of fascinating people that way, but also had some very negative experiences, so I try to limit my gabbiness with all and sundry. It's hard though as I am truly interested in people and their stories.
PS I screamed out loud when I read what she does with the mice ๐
Wonderful. Also, traveling with your ferrets! Because, of course! You are in good company, but I have never traveled with a ferret. I have traveled with a chicken, however. I was ten or eleven, and I had a pet chicken, and she was lovely.
But look. I just spent the past hour-and-a-half, writing that Part III. None of it is terribly hilarious, because some things just aren't, and that might partly explain the delay in writing it. I won't be too much longer, a day or so...
