I absolutely LOVE the comparison of lack of tact to war veterans' lack of limbs! I was in the bathroom reading your newsletter and laughed so hard my partner asked if I was okay!
For what it's worth, you bring joy to my existence, and that's no mean feat. Laughter is one of life's main food groups for health. Thank you, as always, for your gift of excellent writing and wry humor, your hilarious social commentary, and your humanity. Oh, and bless you not in a Christian sorry of way) for not killing spiders or Jeremy.
Kris. It's kind, and empathetic of you register, with me, what my writing brings you, because my place in the cosmos is to do precisely this and its good to know it's finding its way to you. Bless you back, not in the Christian way, for being here, and in my corner, and being part of all this.
You did it again - made me cry. I should be retired, reading many books, getting another dog, going away into the woods. But, instead, most waking hours are spent organizing others so we can fix the mess my country is in. Like many of us, I can't afford to feel the rage and grief, and can forget to smile. But, you always remind me of the sweet part of being alive. Thank you.
There's gonna be a lot of us, wandering the woods, with our dogs. I tried to title this newsletter 'you and me, and our dogs, and axes' but i didnt want to worry anyone about the dogs cause it sounded a bit worrisome.
It's gratifying that you get what I'm doing, it really is. Thank you for being here, II promise to keep doing this for as long as I possibly can. Keep on keepin' on, Shar.
Oh my goodness, you are in sooooo much trouble with your girls. They have you wrapped!! Fasten your seat belt, you're in for a wild (and hopefully fun) ride.
Oh, I know. This newsletter was the least of it; it is an incessant, practically constant matter. These people are verbal swashbucklers. But I think Hattie peaked, early, in terms of mischief and she is stepping back from the ledge; she’s terribly precocious. She reminds me of Lyra, in His Dark Materials, which I am reading, and which I recommend to you, if you haven’t read it yet Denise. Thanks for being here!
