So I made an effort this time, I actually gave you a thumbs up. This was because you asked me to and I wanted you to have that pinprick of dopamine. Then, because I discovered the substack interface, I thought I would prick you some more, so I gave every post on here a thumbs up. I didn't feel particularly polite when I did it, and I don't know what a golf-clap is. I drink coffee when I'm being polite but I haven't had any coffee since I was 17, that's how polite I am (that was 45 yrs ago). Anyway, I always read your emails, they make me smile inside, so I will try to remember to thumbs up so that I can pass on that smile. Much warmth and affection channelling to you as I type

Well, first and foremost, thank you for being demonstrative. I appreciate the warmth and affection you're channeling. Also, I feel as if Substack kinda needs empirical data on my general 'likeability' and that's the first part, but crucially, it does help me, too, knowing people are out there. So, validate me in this way, every time, so I'll know you're still here, and because it's nice. Also, we dwell in the shadow of the mysterious algorithm. Who knows how its murky ways? Stay safe out there, and ... maybe it's good you don't know what a golf-clap is? Until next time ...!

You are the most awesome and well adjusted person I know. That may be a comment on my antisocial nature, or that I dwell in a savage environment, or maybe both, your choice. Thanks to your substack and cards, Western civilation and civil society is a bit safer and the world is a better place. I tip my coffee mug to you in gratitude. Bring on the soiree of techno feudalist hanging upside down on street lamps, while we drink with raised pinkie fingers. 🙏

Man, I appreciate your kind words and thoughts. But it's not just you who dwells in a savage environment; we all do, it's just less obvious to some because the marketing is crazy. I'm also grateful that you and others, here, can see that I'm trying to make the world a better place. I really thought i was being subtle about that...

Finally, I appreciate you know the term techno feudalist, because many people should, but don't, even though those clowns are, like, the upcoming end-of-level Boss waiting for us at the end of a long hallway lined with health packs and healing potions ... except they took-away all the health packs and potions and told everybody they were entitlements that made people lazier. They'll get their comeuppance.

Anyway, thanks for being here, and thanks for being nice.
